Following the recent enactment of the Football Governance Act and drawing upon her experience of working with the board of Southend United Football Club, Bernadette will explore the evolving world of English football governance and the challenges and opportunities that await English professional football under the new Independent Football Regulator. She will dive into the work that her governance consultancy firm, Indigo: Independent Governance has been undertaking as a governance leader in this space and the steps that clubs should be taking to prepare for the new regime.
